i have a 98 200efi, since april of last year boat will only turn 5300 to 5500 depending on weight in the boat. i have replaced fuel filter checked compression, tried new 25p trophy plus (same as mine) i only gain 1 mph, had injectors flow tested and cleaned, put new reeds in, checked fire with spark tester and timing light under load also all check ok, fuel pressure is 40 psi on fuel rail never drops, (some times it will die out have to pump bulb) hooked ddt to it and showed cold engine temp, put sensors in ran good put on trailer and didnt touch till the following week back to same issue. evrything is checking ok. could i have bad voltage reg, switchboxes or ecu????? i have access to a blown 98 200 efi that i can get parts from, engine normally turns 5800 where would you look??? tired of dealing with this and its been in shop three times they say they cant find anything wrong n think the boat is waterlogged, but like i said it came back when ddt was hooked up to it in sept. last year. ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYONE!!!!!!
