Should the engine run if the throttle plates are closed? I'm asking because all I've read indicates to adjust air fuel when throttle plates are closed, also did link sync and ended up with closed throttle plates, looking down the carburetor bore I can see reliefs cut into the throttle plates so even when they are closed to the stops there's still a place for fuel to go by them, I've had to adjust the throttle cable to keep them open a bit to get an idle does that sound normal? It's an 67 v4 80hp.
