Got the boat out after the long winter, had the boat winterized and now when I start the boat, it runs for a few seconds and stops, never had a problem with it before, always started right up, when it starts, i have to pump the throttle to keep it running, it wont hold idle, if i stop pumping, it dies right away, took the spark arrester off, and notice the choke is fully open, and is really hard to move, i was able to get engine temp up to about 170 while continully pumping the throttle but it would not stay running, Any ideas as to where to begin looking?

it is a 2000 sea ray, with a 2000 mercrusier 3.0 carb engine.

Thanks

It sounds like your choke is sticking on. Either fix it or disconnect it.
