Its snowing very hard here right now. It started snowing at 3 PM and by 6 PM we had 3" of snow on the ground. I'm sitting here just looking outside and am glad I am not out in it. I don't mind the snow. The more snow we have the better lake levels we will have in the spring/summer boating season. So, let it snow, let it snow.

Nope, not yet. It's too early for this neck of the woods. The "big storm" is going just to the south of us. No snow to plow or snowmobile on........ I bet j_martin was hammered with it....

Just drove 25 miles through it. Took over an hour. Biggest problem was visibility. I knew the name of the road, just had trouble figuring out where it was, even though I was driving on it. (I think)

Me thinks I'll be snowed in by morning.

79? here today. I've seen snow on TV this year. Florida was the only state that didn't get any snow this winter...although it did get to 25? for a few days.

We had feet of snow and last week's unseasonably warm temps melted 85% of it. I'll probably do some snowmobiling today but the ice is generally unsafe now making sledding dangerous at best. It's the only way I can get through our never ending MN winters. Last year it warmed up around the first of March and was pretty much an early end to winter. When the snow melts a month early, I miss it when the snow melts early and comes back, I hate it. Can't win where weather is concerned.

been a weird winter for us mostly small snows, only had one 8" snow all year but the temperature has been pretty warm all winter, only one real cold spell is all so far. I hate to talk about it fearing I am jinxing myself!!! I keep thinking about maybe getting the boat out early this year and then I hear on the news that an Ice Sailer was injured when she hit an ice fishing hole and got thrown!! http://www.9news.com/news/article/182530/339/Injured-ice-sailor-rescued-from-icy-reservoir Maybe I should just wait a month and shatup!!LOL

I won't be getting the boat out early this year! The darn Costco Garage I had it in collapsed on it and now has about 4 feet of snow on top of that, so its going to be a while for me! But heck, our lakes don't thaw to late May or early June, so no pressing matter right now!

Yup, its in my front yard, my back yard and it is everywhere. Snow real heavy at times then sleet and back to snow. Just got to see the yard last week after 62 days of snow cover.. Now it is all covered again. 52 more days til the docks open, but who's counting

I just tuned into the weather. Everybody stay safe and bring the dogs in.

I have a pair of silk thermal underwear my lady bought me to keep me warm. I own no boots, nothing flannel, few socks, no gloves, no dog, no firewood no facial hair, or a shotgun.......What the heck happened? I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains in West "By God" Virginia! And proud of it. Sometimes I miss that place. I would have loved to be sitting by the fire today watching it snow.

Enough already...this snowfall has just dumped 1 3/4 inch in just the last half hour. At 3 pm there was just a dusting. as of now 6:30 pm we have 4.75 on the ground. I knew I shouldn't have gone out to the boat this past Saturday. Pulled the raw water pump, carb, and distributor to get ready for spring. Geeeeeesh..........SS

I grew up near Toledo and know that winter isn't so bad around here and when I can afford it I am moving farther south

We're back to normal temps for the week and got some boat time in last Saturday. Rest of the week is supposed to be more of the same... upper 70s every afternoon.
