Fellow Boaters, I have just purchased a center console with a 2002 (or 2003 not sure) (engine says 2002, serial number say Model year 2003) 115HP Ficht outboard.
I took it for a test ride before purchasing and she ran like a tiger. Now I am at home, preparing for the season. I have read the error codes, and get Error Codes 38 & 39 (No Oil Pressure / No Oil Prime ). I have tried to clear these codes but they remain. The Seloc manual that I have describes these faults as "2002 Model", so I am confused. Also, they say "call the dealer", whereas more serious problems say "call the dealer immediately". The dealers are presently closed and I haven't hooked up with one on this motor yet. Any help would be appreciated.
