Been working on my newly acquired Gamefisher 15 (1981 Eska) ...I had first taken it to the local marine shop and asked them to look it over, went back and pretty much was told never to bring it back! It ran but really rough, one of the parting shots the tech there told me was the discharge water was "pretty warm". SO I've been work on this unit myself, with the help of a maintenance manual I picked up. I have replaced the water pump impellor and the stator and it runs great ...except the water discharge is still "pretty warm" ...almost too hot to put your hand in. I'm looking in the manual and I don't see any mention about temperature ...only that there is a discharge. SO what's the correct story here? As long as I have a discharge it's ok? ...Or is there such a problem as "too hot"?
...THX!
