Ethanol-Resistant Fuel Line & Primer Bulbs revisited

My remote tank fuel line (or primer bulb or both) have deteriorated. Bits of black particulates are passing through the fuel barb into the line leading to the fuel pumps of my small motors. (Tank interior is clear and clean.)
On replacement options, my local Napa has been little help. They don't seem to understand the differences in their fuel line products. I'd like to purchase line and primer bulb that will last at least 4 seasons.
Does anyone have recent experience to share on long-lived makes of ethanol-resistant 1/4" fuel line AND primer bulbs I should pursue as replacements?

A good grade fuel line is ethanol resistant. Go with a 3/8" line easier to find and factory primer balls and fittings seem to be the best.

Agree, and all fuel line and bulbs made today is able to handle E10 fuel.

My preference is for Gates and Trident hoses

Thanks for input. Assuming tank + hose are properly stored when not in use, what average life should I expect of hose & bulb?

Unless you store rubber in an UV and ozone free environment, proper storage is meaningless.

Manufacturers of quality hoses typically give a working life of 6 years and a useful life of 10 years for fuel hose.

No idea on the primer bulb. Never seen it advertised. Guessing similar to hose life because of the rubber content
