Evenrude 4 . Is this spray normal?

OK, I recently acquired a 98' Evinrude 4 in Mint condition. ( About 10 hrs total run time, stickers still on prop.) It runs sweet and you can see it's pumping water good by the steady stream from the P hole. However there is more water spraying out under the cowling too. I'm wondering if this is normal/ part of the "telltale/exhaust" or if I have a leak on the head/hose.
Motor runs absolutely great so I hate to start tearing into things unless I KNOW I have an issue.

looks like it is coming out the exhaust relief ports, very normal.

Thanks, That's what I was thinking but I was unsure that that insert was for exhaust as I can't see/feel any exhaust gas there and am unfamilure with this particular design motor.

I found it odd that a motor designed to have a 180deg spin reverse would spit that much water (potentially into the boat.)

Thanks again for the sanity check!
Love this little motor.
