Evenrude 9.9hp 1982

I’m new to this site and really hope someone can help me out,I’ve got a evenrude 1982 9.9hp outboard and have just bought throttle control and cable but am really unsure how to fit it and for the life of me can’t find any diagrams.
Any help would be amazing

Do you mean a replacement tiller handle or a remote setup?

You will need the shift lever and remote adapter kit.-----Needed to mount the remote control shift cable.----Complete kit listed at $160.49 on one site.

I’ve bought the remote control that sits up front and cables so I can control engine from front of boat

You still need to attach those cables to the motor, there are parts needed to do that unless your motor already was set up for remote operation. Most of these small motors dont come from the factory setup for remote controls, so kits are needed to make the cables connect to the motor.

Where would I find the parts needed as I’ve tried fitting cables and it does need extra parts but unsure where to start looking
