<br /><br />I look to make it an annual event and to make it bigger and better each year.<br /><br />I grant you that I may not be able to make it to all of them because of distance/time ETC, but I will be able to handle places to stay etc for you all.<br /><br />Again, thanks for the interest. 
<br /><br />I will expect a full report when its over and look forward to hearing about it. <br /><br />Just a note: I belong to a baseball forum and we have get togethers several times a year. We've all known eachother for around 5 years now and its a great group of people. We do everything from backyard BBQ's to Beach Blast (our house), and sand lot games not to mention going to the games. At first, I was hesitant to meet all these 'internet' people and had no idea what to expect. I have to tell you I was pleasantly surprised and those 'internet' people have become lifelong friends.<br /><br />I just wanted to share that in case anyone is 'skeered'.
is Amateur radio. About 20 years ago <br />my wife and I started contacting my friends when we were going to be in thier area and started doing coffee with them when traveling on vacation <br />or work.. an eyeball as we call it. Turned out that every trip since has been more fun!<br /><br />INTERNET = EVIL .. preverts around every corner! <br />etc etc. I fell into the same news media trap.<br />But a few years ago a friend of mine got me to<br />check into a very loose group of puter nerds.. <br />some of them "Hams" most not.. Anyway they<br />decieded to have a get together and since we <br />(wife and I ) were headed to Canada anyway swung by.. Had a great time and over the years are<br />still in touch both on the internet and in person.<br /><br />Spinner_bait Nut:<br />Let everyone know how many people show up this year.
