evinrude 15hp remote steering and throttle/shifting

I am trying to figure out how to add remote steering to my 1983 Evinrude 15hp rope start outboard. When I look at all of the steering systems on the market, it seems as if I am missing something to get it all hooked up. I was wondering if anyone had hooked remoted steering up to this engin or one similar and could tell me what all parts I will need to purchase. It has a standard steering/throttle arm on it right now and the only places I see to bolt onto the side of the motor facing inside the boat when straight are the 2 bolt holes on the back of the transom mount. Any information you could provide about remote applications for evinrude/johnson omc 15's would be great!!!

I am in the process of doing this to my boat right now...

Steering-
You have 2 options:



option one is cleaner and cheaper, but requires some customization. Option two is easy to install, but looks a little sloppy and is hundreds more.

Throttle-
You have 3 options:

2. separate throttle/binnacle throttle.

Option 1 is the cheapest, but I have read a few people complained about how it is not waterproof and rain kills it. Option 2 is expensive...Option 3 is just an extension so you can manually steer using the tiller.
