hi col. I did a little more digging and I found a link right here at iboats that seems to date your motor to 1981. Scroll about half way down the page on this link:

However, based on the pictures I think it's older than that. I don't see any external coils, and the carburetor looks to be of an older vintage too, so I think it may be more of an early-mid 70's model, maybe even earlier. I believe the green power head color showed up around 1968? That's actually a good thing, as most folks here actually prefer the older style "universal" magnetos and carbs. I agree with 1946Zephyr that it is essentially one of the much loved, OMC "Big Twin" motors made form the mid 50-mid 70s. I used to have a '66, 33 hp and it was great. Very reliable, easy to work and inexpensive to maintain. Here are some handy links to help you get it up and running. You should be able to get virtually and parts you may need right here at iboats.
