Evinrude 8 Hp.

Hello ;
I just picked up a 1996 8 Hp. Evinrude outboard. It started good and seams to run fine.
The question is where to get an owners manual for it ? I need to know gas/oil ratio, what gear oil for this motor etc.

Gearlube would be HiVis 80/90w outboard gearcase lube... available here, Wal*Mart, K-Mart, marine type stores, your dealership, etc.

Mixture would be 50/1.

Well, you can order manuals from Ken Cook ( do a google search) for original manuals. Ebay is another source. The fuel is 50:1, that is what all Evinrude motors (late models) use.
