Evinrude E Tec 135

[Rub-a-dub]

Was looking at a used boat today with an Evinrude E Tec 135. We cranked it up with the ear muffs and it run perfect except I noticed the motor was not peeing out the pee-hole. Was told that it won't unless the foot is submerged. Does that sound right??

Rule #1 when you buy a used boat you must install a new impeller.-----And the pee tube might be plugged.

don't think my 75 ETEC has a pee hole it comes out the hose connection at the back of the lower housing... down the lower housing and out by the prop with the exhaust

maybe the 135 is the same ??
