I have an Evinrude outboard motor<br />Model # 1540S<br />S/N C74578<br />I was told that it is a 9.9, and am not sure of how old it is.<br /><br />Thanks<br />John.
look at the last number in the model if it is a 5 instead of a s this should be what it is<br /><br />15405 15 1974 <br /><br />check back from time to time if one of the guys knows different the will catch this and correct<br />and welcome aboard<br /><br />
