Evinrude / OMC Controls ignition switch.

Good day guys!

I've just aquired an older boat with a hardly used 1997 30 HP Evinrude E30EEUD with OMC controls.

Unfortunatley, it did not come with the keys... (Estate sale) I found out that a new ignition switch is OMC part # 0175974.

Is there a way to get a key made? or buy a key? (is there a stamping on the switch for key code etc? ) or do I have to replace the switch?

Buy a new ignition switch it will also come with a new lanyard for the emergency kill switch. The new part # 5005801
