thanks, BK, I thought it was about that age because of the Speedtwin script on the tank. Fhat age seems right for the carb on it and the castings. I'm an old car guy and have restored a few 30s and 40s cars. The guy I bought it from was going to sledgehammer it for the aluminum. I'm in the middle of restoring a '72 MB 350sl so am not wanting it for myself but can't stand to see historical stuff get destroyed. It's complete, except for the prop and I'd like to get it in the hands of someone who restores them. Any suggestions? Thanks again. And thank you too F R.
