Evinrude steering link arm

Hi there - I would like to fab this piece but don't know the dimensions. Could someone who has one give me a quick measure? Thanks!

Set your steering wheel to dead center of it's travel. Now set the motor straight and measure the distance. The one in your link is adjustable. Why not make your's custom? use nylon lock bolts to make sure it doesn't come loose.
