I have a 1986 140 Evinrude. One of the two engine temp gauges is showing an overheating condition on the engine, but only at higher speeds, not idle. If I don't back down the warning horn will come on also. Steady stream of water visible out the pee-hole. Should the water discharge be hot or warm ? Should I be looking to replace the water pump (last changed 2 years ago) or thermostats or both ?
