Re: Excessive water from upper exhaust ports
Ok, I'm a little embarrassed to ask this but I think I have the opposite problem. I have a good stream of water coming out of the engine but none coming out of the exhasut ports. What controls this water flow- the popper, the thermostats, etc? The engine I just bought is a rebuild so I would have thought that any obstructions in the water jacket would have been realized??
Also, I am rewiring the boat as well- anybody know the setting on the tachometer for a 1995 200hp two stroke yamaha?? I think the tach reading is a bit high right now but not sure.
One last question, how about the proper break-in routine for a rebuild?
many, many thanks
