Had a nice day out on the lake with my '86 CC with a 265 Mercrusier with a Alpha One, but the motor sounded different.
When I got it back on the trailer, I noticed that the exhaust bellow ( which I had replaced at the start of the season) has become disconnected from the transom side, The hose clamp and the bellow looks fine, but it's not connected.
So, a few questions, if I lower the stern, can I just slide on the bellows? How do I re-tighten the hose clamp? I really didn't look that hard, but it seemed that it is not easy to get in there. Also, did I do damage to the motor driving around with the stern lowered and the hose disconnected?
Let me know you thoughts, Got a new pair of water skis that I want to try on Sunday!!!!!
Thanks,
Bob
