I have a 1994 mercruiser and just happened to look at the exhaust bellows, because the engine had gotten louder, and it had several splits. Should I replace it or leave it alone, and can it cause any problems?
Wont really cause any problems itself, but the real question is what kind of shape are the rest of them in? The ones that CAN cause expensive problems?
well just replaced all the bellows 2 weeks ago have no idea why it had split. The only thing I can think of was it might of over head. The exhaust bubbles will not break any of the other bellows lose will it, I do not think that they will but just want to be on the safe side. I am thinking of just putting the horn on.
