exhaust gaskets?

I posted a message before about a water intrusion in my cylinder on my 97 75hp merc. I was told by a mech. that it could possiby be the exhaust gaskets leaking water into the cylinders causing my spark plug to have a milky white substance on them. Does this sound right I was told on this board that it could be the head gasket. Any ideas...........thanks......

Since it's gotta come apart... how about changing all those gaskets???
