Exhaust hoses

This may seem like a silly question, but I just want to double-check myself and have all the parts on hand before taking anything apart.<br /><br />What size are the hoses from the riser to the Y on my '78 Stringer with a 305 SBC?<br /><br />They're looking dry-rotted and I want to replace them. I tried to measure them as best I could and got 4", but someone told me they were probably 3 5/8". Anyone know right off hand?<br /><br />Thanks!

KH,I usually try to do the same only to find that I did not measure properly.I now ALWAYS take the old part with me for replacement.Never get the wrong one that way.Charlie

I believe 4" ID.... but I'll have to double check.
