exhaust question

My exhaust is through the hull but it sits at the water line half of the opening is above the water and half is below.

so it has somewhat of a nice v8 tone to it buy yet has a bubble like sound to it too.

it's a 350 so I want the exhaust all the way out of the water is there extensions that clamp down to where the flaps are now that extend it a little so thats it's all the way out of the water?

what are my options?

Nope,... That would funnel the water Right back into the motor.....

Leave it Alone,...
As soon as there's forward motion, the tips will be Out of the water...

I agree, leave them alone. My last boat had them, submerged at idle and below planing speeds. we could talk with no problems! but throttle up and then "instant music"! You know the funny thing is the wind noise was always louder than the exhaust. I'm doing thru hulls again as soon as I can get the funds but this time out the sides, I dont have room to go out the transom.
I'm expecting it to be a little more obnoxious since they wont be below the water line but I'm combining the exhaust, some (Most) ot the sides.

Well, actually there's nothing funny about it, just basic physics. Ask the people you pass or those onshore how funny they thing it is ;)

Also, even if you do raise the outlets, it wil still "bubble". There is water IN the exhaust.
