I had that rattling from exhaust shutters that we all know so well. Today i got in there and found the shutters to be in tact and fully operational. The rattling noise seems to be coming from the small metal rod that holds the shutters in place. The rod is smaller in diameter than the hole they are in, therefore causing it to rattle around. Anyone know how to fix this. I dont believe i need new shutters. Can i put some kind of silicone in there to keep them from rattling around. If so, what type of silicone? Thanks
