lol i got the thing rehubed around last august

but i mean isnt it supposed to be like that if u hit something it slips then reenages so as if nothing happened?

If it has a shear (drive) pin--and I'm almost positive your 10hp does, then when you hit a stump with the prop the pin is going to break. It's got a rubber hub in the prop but still, the pin will shear. If you don't have an extra, I'm laughing!!!!:eek::eek::eek::D
Young whippersnappers.............inner hub so it won't shear the pin.. ha HA!

BTW, I don't think OMC came out with a slip clutch like Mercury had until the late 70's or 80's. One of the main reasons I have to admit, I like running my 9.8 mercury when the water is low in the summer.

lol u know i never do carry a extra one around... but u know r lake doesnt really have anything dangerour in it since most of the time its at a nice level to go around all the canals easily.
