Exit polls????

Prior to moving here in 1999,which is a distant suburb of St Louis, I previously lived in St. Louis County. Has any body on this board ever had someone ask the when leaving a polling place any questions, also known as exit polls? I vote every election never had anyone ask me any Questions.

Just curious, I wonder what the criteria is? What puts the precinct that they exit poll on their list?
Not that I want to be quizzed, just wondering how they come to some of the conclusions that they do.

I hear ya TD, I've never seen an exit polster either. I wonder how they will do them in the future with everyone going to vote by mail?

Got "exit polled" once many years ago in NC. Told her I voted for Goldwater.

Exit polls, like any poll, show only what the pollster wants to show. Unfortunately they are broadcast far and wide before the polls close and probably/possibly influence the results of the elections.
