Recently purchased boat and have been unable to locate an insurance company that will provide extended warrantee. Boat is a 2001 26' Searay Sundancer purchased used form Brokerage. SeaRay Dealers have been un-responsive as has the parent company. Anyone have suggestions?

even if you had bought the boat new 3 years would be the max coverage you could get

you will not find any water based equal to a cars bumper to bumper coverage ther are to many ways a boat owner can destroy the motor or hull

your really pretty luckey no body sells one because most of the land based ones that are not factory backed are compleat rip offs with a thousand ways not to honor a claim

tommays

You have to purchase new for any extended warranty from the maker-----Cobalt is the only one I know of that offers a transferrable warranty to a second owner.

Why bother? IMHO, they are a rip-off.
