I have a 2005 Ez Loader trailer, single axle, galvanized, oil bath wheel bearings, tough no-rust fenders, a very nice trailer. The only trouble is wire connectors from tail lights get submerged during launching. It is a short jumper wire less than a foot long made into the tail light and connected to the main wiring harnes just inside the frame from the tail light assembly. The connector is not water proof and will corrode especially when used in salt water. To prevent corrosion, remove tail lights and access the connector, unplug the connector and apply water proof dielectric grease on pins, slide some heat shrink tubing over it and plug it back in. Center the heat shrink, make sure it draws up tight to the wire pairs, push extra slack of wiring back up into frame, reinstall tail lights, use anti-seize on the studs of the tail light housings. Good luck, P.S. I am in no way bashing Ez loader trailers, I will certainly be happy to own another one in the future!

Sounds good except for the anti-seize. Anti-seize and saltwater don't play well together.
