F115 Idle and Top End problems

I recently purchased a boat with a 2003 F115
When I received the boat it would run approc 5700-5800rpm and is now topping at about 5200 to 5400.

Secondly the previous owner said the would would stop running at midrage range rpm intermittently. After putting about 30-40 hrs on the boat it has started happening. "stalls at idle" and will not run under 2000 rpm.

Out of the the blue it starts running fine again. Any suggestions

Check the fuel system. Hoses and primer bulb for proper operation or leaks, Filters and then the injectors.

Lots of injector problems with dirty fuel. If you dont have a good water/fuel filter add one now.

Injectors can be cleaned. Most of the time a set of 4 injectors can be cleaned and calibrated back to specs for less then a cost of 1 new injector.
