F80 convertion to a F100 Yamaha outboard

Hi Guys and Gals,

I know that this question has been asked by another member however i have a 2006 EFI F80 and when i review the spec's on a F100 it appears they are the exact same engine.

My gut feeling is that all i need to do is change the restrictor , out of the air box and install the F100 computer.

Has anyone got the Disprin to settle my gut and give me the right advise

The easiest way to get a F100 out of a F80....is to go and buy one.

You must not be in the US........Yamaha does not have a F80 or F100 that is EFI in the states. F75 and F90 is what we have here.
