Family of 4 Disappears!

This is old news but I just learned of it a couple of weeks ago when it was aired on the TV show "Disappeared". They still haven't been heard from--according to the latest updates. Husband, wife and 2 kids gone. Close family ties for the Husband. Left of $100,000 behind in the bank. Left their 2 dogs to starve if not fed. Left food that should have been refrigerated out--like they were coming right back. No sign of violence or breakin. A SUV full of new toys was found. Just bought a home they were fixing up..
Just wanted to see if any of the iboater community has any ideas of what could have happened to them? I have racked my brain that is for sure LOL. So many have. A mystery that may never be solved.

Here is some clues

Neighbor surveillance camera saw their SUV pull out of their drive way. No other vehicles around. The vehicle was found in a Mall parking lots 3 blocks from the Mexican border
Mexican border crossing video show 2 people walking with 2 kids to the check point. Police say it is them. Some family members say it is not him but her. She has cloths on they recognize and it looked like her from a back shot. Looks like the kids. Doesn't look like anyone is too close to them
Somebody in the home researched pass ports etc for Mexico on the family computer a week before the disappearance even though the relatives wanted all of them to take a trip to Mexico and the couple didn't want to go because they thought Mexico was too dangerous. So why were they crossing the border on foot with their Children at night? If it was them that is.
One friend wouldn't comment because she feared for her safety. Why is that?
They had no passports so they couldn't back into the US. So it would have been a one way walk. Why not use their SUV?
Police and FBI have found no evidence of illegal activity by the couple or any connection to the drug cartel

Well still news worthy because they are still gone. Now if it were a month later people would be saying they probably just wanted to get away from everyone for a short time. But a year of no contact? That Smart girl who was kidnapped was found many years later. This is why they keep putting it on TV. Maybe someone has seen them? Maybe somebody feels guilty for being a part of their abduction?

People are abducted everyday. My guess is that they killed the husband and sold the wife and children into sex slavery or auctioned them off to the highest bidder.

This happens everyday,the numbers would scare you, AND it's directly connected with the drug cartel and government in Mexico.

That sounds as good as any scenario Ladyfish. What a horrible way to go. I think we should seriously consider putting tracking devices in people when they are born. A voluntary program. Something bad happens to you then at least you could be quickly located. They put them in autos now. I am sure there are some draw backs to that. Sometimes they can track you by your cell phone but these people never used their phones after they went missing.

Implant Tracking devices? Are you kidding? Do you honestly think the bad guy's couldn't figure a way around that one? I'd dig the damn thing out of my own head with a spoon rather than have it.

I will put you down as a definite maybe . Really the bad guys don't seem all that bright which is why our prisons are over flowing. See you could have this GPS microscpic device implanted somewhere on your body. The activator is with a trusted person. You come up missing and boom! The police can track at least part of your body haha.
I saw a reality crime show the other day and a bank had implanted a GPS device in a wad of cash. The robber had done 40 bank robberies before the last smart bank one. He couldn't figure out why 10 squad cars and one Helecopter was following him. Hmmm, they must have the wrong man haha--not!
