Hi all. Stumbled across this site a couple days ago while searching for a possible solution for the problem I had with the chalky finish on my boat. Well all I have to say is thank you to everyone for posting. Everyone has saved me so much money. Thousands. I had bought my first boat that I am really proud of which is a Crownline Cuddy 21 ft. 300 hp. Great looking boat but with a quite bad finish. Your posts prevented me from taking it to the shop to get redone which they quoted me almost $5000. I've discovered in the past few months that fellow boaters are the most loyal and friendly people out there. The previous owner of my boat is one of the nicest people I've met in the last few years. Stop regularly to talk to him but get grief from the wife cause she waits patiently for a few hours in the truck while we talk "boats". Feels pretty damn good knowing that wherever there are boaters, there are friendly people and each one of those people will try and help with whatever the problem is. Great people. Great site. Thanks very much again.
