We went out Friday evening after work on the boat. Brought my wife, 5 year old and 1 year old girls. Went up the river to a sand bar, ate some sandwiches and played around. Cruised down to the oxbow and floated in some deep water to watch the sunset. My five year old and I jumped off the boat for a while and floated around. It was a perfect evening. We are going to step up to a bow rider in a couple of years, but the 16' Carolina Skiff worked fine. Made for a perfect beginning to Father's Day weekend. Played golf with Dad on Sunday morning to complete the weekend. AND, my parents signed a contract on a house by us. Moving from 2.5 hours away. Awesome weekend.
