Re: Fibergalss Stringers

Hello again. I'm finally ready to get to work on the transom. While the boat was empty, I decided to sand, repair and repaint the bottom.
My problem now is the original transom looks as if it may have been two pieces (not the laminated lumber). It seems that the piece that comforms to the bottom of the hull rest at a 90 degree angle and the top rested on the bottom at about 106 degrees. Is it possible to build a transom like this? Advice..Please. If you look at the picture, you can see the line where the transom angles out.

Thanks.

ron
