filling outdrive

i've got a 96 alpha one with the remote oil reservoir. when i'm filling it, do i fill to the top hole?, or do i fill to the line in the reservoir? thanks

Fill from the bottom till oil comes out the vent plug. Put the plug in and continue pumping till lube starts filling the reservoir. Then just top off the reservoir.
