was going to fill in some minor scratches on my aluminum supersport and fill in some old snaps.was thinking of using something like a auto finishing putty but in a marine grade. any suggestions on a product to use?

I used JB Weld on mine. Not sure about the putty, somebody should chime in on that.

The little tubes of JB Weld can go a long way and the stuff works great. But if you have a substantial amount of filling to do try Marine Tex. The only difference I know of is JB can withstand higher temps and MT is available in larger portions.
