I bought an oil filter for my 2003 Mercury/Mariner 4 stroke outboard earlier this year. It cost me £17.50 ( about 30 US dollars ).
I have not yet recoverd from the shock.
How much are you guys able to buy these small filters for? If I know, I could then ask an American buddy to buy me 5 or so.
The Quicksilver part number was
35-822626q 1

thanks in anticipation, Craig

Thanks, just as I suspected. I'll definitely not buy them here in the UK, and will think of a plan to have them purchased in the USA.

cheers,

Craig

$8.92 at www.mercruiserparts.com

They may ship internationally, but I'm not sure.

EDIT: I just got an email from them. They confirmed that they do indeed ship to the UK.
