I have a Evinrude 50Hp rvo outboard that I can not find year of<br /> as we need spares now i am hoping you can help<br /> Have checked on the mounting bracket where it goes over the transom but all numbers are Illegible. I have various numbers from around the engine hoping they may help <br />On the block of the engine is stamped 328100 f.1 or i<br />On the head 32289.d2<br />Behind the Carbs 27126.7 or 1<br />On the outside of the flywheel there is A Y stamped<br />Inside 583011 d1.c<br />On the Carb housing to block GJ1381575<br />Also on the ignition module CD2 582281 27A T_OA<br />Also there is a round aluminium plug looks like a core plug with C1100908 stamped on it<br />If you need more information could you give me some pointers to look for as quite new to boating?<br />Thanks in advance

hi i have now found out that this is a 1986 engine i managed to get some of the numbers off the engine as follows BE5****CDE<br />and am now looking for a workshop manual could you point me in the right direction<br />thanks

Do you have a Johnson/Evinrude dealer locally? They should have a manual for you, although I found it cheaper to buy mine from the States, even with the shipping, just try to find a supplier who will ship by a economical method like Global Priority, some of them will only ship by UPS or some other fancy service costing $40-50! Global Priority is much cheaper and only takes 3 days. I bought mine from HERE
