Welcome to iboats!

It's all about condition. If all the wood is sound and everything works, that could be a great price. If it's a total wreck, then not so much. BTW, what year is the boat?

The OMC naysayers should be along any minute.

What color is it? Bayliner added teal and tango colored boats to its line in 1993. The customers reacted so badly to the colors, they were changed midyear!

Yes, you got totally screwed, bring it back (just kidding).

$1,000 . . . can't go wrong.

Fair price. Not a deal due to the obsolete powerplant.

Sounds like you did pretty good. If you pull 5 years outta' her with minimal repairs, that's boating for less than $250 per year plus gas and registration ... pretty cheap family fun.

Welcome aboard.

Bought my '86 w/125 outboard for $1000 before coming to iboats. Put in another $1000 and weekends for two months to get it up and running.

Sounds pretty good to me, but remember - the purchase price of a boat is really a down payment!

Sounds fair price wise if there are no major gotchas. Have you had it on the water yet? Hard to say that everything works until you have run it for a while, had some fun, and get it back on the trailer with no issues like overheating, taking on water, etc.

I also hope there has been water supply hooked to the drive each time the key was bumped and it fired. If not then the impeller may be ready to be replaced before you hit the lakes.

Got pics? :)

Good luck!
