Finally got my 1974 Westporter on the water. It was a beautiful Saturday here in Utah and it was so nice to finally be able to enjoy the boat. It took over a month of rebuilding most things in the boat but it was worth it. We were suppose to go out both Friday and Saturday but after fueling the boat up we found that the bottom of the fuel line was completely gone. We were not about to replace it until late Friday so we only got out Saturday.
The cabin cruiser worked out exactly like we wanted it to and our little girl loved riding up front in the cabin and looking out the front windows. It was the kind of day that reminds me of why I love being out on the water.
I have attached some pictures of the interior that we re worked. I have to re-due some of the cushions but this is a good start.
