Re: fishing causing the silent treatment
Thats a tough one....
Persistance may pay off though... I have been married for 10 years now, and my wife was about the most non-outdoors person you could meet...
She likes boating a little, but was never really into fishing... even though every single time we go, I ask her to try...
She kept countering with asking me to try one of her hobbies (ballroom dancing, or quilting) UGH nooooooo way.
So I just kept asking her to try it out...
Well finally, just about 2 weeks ago, she said she wanted to try fishing and to get her own fishing pole!!! WAHOOO (Only took 10 years hehehe)
So now we go out and make it a competition to see who can do what... I have freely taught her all my "tricks" and everything I know about fishing to make it fair, and we now have a lot of fun with it. My son is 5 now, and getting fairly good at it too, so we make it a family affair... Relax, listen to the radio and just have a good time!
