I bought a used calkins trailer. I'm not sure where to properly place the adjustable axle. Is there a balance point or a ratio from bow to stern? How much weight on the toung or what not.. thanks.
Howdy Mastercraft.<br /><br />First get the boat well situated and supported on the trailer.<br /><br />Then adjust the undercarriage so that 7% to 10% of the total weight is on the hitch.<br /><br />Good luck.
