What thread size is the fitting onthe vent screw on an Alpha One? Dose that make sense?

Want to create a presure testing circuit........need to know the thread size on the outdrive.....I used the plastic fitting from the lube fill pump but its getting weak....threads are worn.

...try your thread gauges!!! Usually 3/8-16.

Ayuh,... It's the standard Bolt size, not a fitting size... That's the Gotcha....
Ya need a Steel fitting off a bottlepump...

You're looking for a gear lube pump that fits on a quart bottle. Most any marine store sells them. Then use the fitting off the end for both pressure testing, and filling.
They run around 10 bucks
