Anyone know of a fixed-mount VHF radio with built-in GPS/DSC (like the Standard Horizon GX1700), but with the mic on the right-hand side of the face? (Or, I suppose, that you could plug the supplied mic--not a "special remote function extra $$$" mic--into the back of the unit). Would be more convenient than a left-hand side of the face mounting for the way I want to arrange my stuff.
Both Icom and Cobra had some right-side mics, but none I found with the built-in GPS I was looking for. I want to avoid mounting a separate GPS antenna.
(Not interested in the "black-box" type where you mount the body hidden away and run the mic to your dashboard or wherever--not that I could find one with built-in GPS anyway!)
(Also, does not necessarily have to be the most "current" model, maybe I could find a used one)
