fixing leak on metal boat

so i filled my new boat with water to check for leaks and found a some seams leaking and this is a metal boat not aluminum they are leaking were the ridges on the bottom of the boat are riveted in rivets are all good but seam looks to be seperated some i thought about welding it but i know if i start welding it im gonna melt good seams and have a lot more of mess what should i do and it is a 14 ft vhull will gluvit work on this or what or would that 3m 5200 help seal these seams.

Use a Brass Wire brush to clean it up as best you can. Acetone wash it as best you can then either use Gluvit or Coat-It. They are basically the same product. Coat-it is significantly less expensive.
