Hello I have a 13’ Boston whaler.. I am thinking of using the flexible resin from total boat in the corner where the sides meet the deck where all those stress cracks are. Is that flexible resin compatible with the harder epoxy resins. So if Iam working in close proximity in a area is it okay to use both? Or should I stick with one brand ? Thanks in advance

Yes, they are combatable in the chemical sense, but using them in the same laminating layup would only negate each other. The stress cracks can be fixed with regular laminating resin, you dont need flexepox, but you can use it.

Use a dremel type tool to v-groove all the crack lines out, then thicken the resin with a sandable filler and fair it, sand it, and paint it.

You can also just grind it down a bit, lay some cloth to strengthen the area if u have flex.

Okay thank I though the flex would be better for the stress cracks. That would make it easier to use the one and stead of two different products . I won’t use the flex then thanks for the help
