Good afternoon fellow Stingray afficianados,

I am preparing to perform a floor replacement in the aforementioned bowrider. Have any of you done this yourselves? I am an auto master technician and equipment technician by trade and am pretty confident in most things I have done, but have never done this. I have replaced most of the wood in the boat already...trim, etc...so I would like some opinions of doing this job.

Thanks,
Stingray Road Warrior

boat2.jpgboat3.jpgboat4.jpgboat6.jpgI did mine and last spring, its not exactly fun. i also took the little half *** plastic cooler thing out and made a bigger one. I realize that this was posted in october but i figured i would give you some insight on it if you havent done it yet. paint the wood with resin then stick your glass to it and paint that, you need one of those little rollers to work it in or else it just pulls the glass apart and it gets lumps every where. that can also happen if you use home depot brand glass and resin. i used mar-pro brand on mine and had great results

Welcome to iboats!

You may want to hop over to the resto threads and look at stringer and deck replacements....I'm doing my first one ever and have learned a huge amount from the guys on here!

Post lots of pictures and ask questions! :D
