It was a little cold this morning (50 deg). Took the boat out, decided to try out the heating system.

The air blew out at 115 deg and warmed the whole cabin to 85 deg in 15 minutes... Now I am ready for winter on the water... :D

The ocean was like a lake today. This morning the weather report said 3-5 seas.. Yea right!

Yes we are very fortunate, my wife and 31 year old son were diving off the boat yesterday off the coast of Fort Lauderdale, 20 feet of water and clear viewing right to the bottom...

Florida boating is hard to beat, unless you head even farther south. We keep talking about running to the Keys over a Christmas holiday. Spend the entire month of December on the boat, but the son's school is holding us back.

Maybe a summertime month-long vacation!!

We had our annual Christmas boat prade on Saturday night. Was a little colder than normal, lower 60's. Traveling the ICW home about 5 miles, 56' sportfish lit up like a Christmas tree.....with 15 drinking, very expierenced liveaboard boaters, glad to be home on the dock safely.

If anybody is heading south, stop by Nettles Island Marina and say hi. Most here are liveaboard snowbirds that show up every year. A good veriety of folks from different backgrounds.

Come join our blind backwards dingy race before Christmas.

I don't work there.....this is just an invite for any boaters wanting a down home feel with alot of fun-loving boaters. :)
